My Philosophy

Music is my passion. I know more about music than anyone I know. I also have 7 years experience as a professional DJ. During that time, I have learned what music works and what doesn't. I know how to keep everyone of all ages on the dancefloor. I work with you to create the playlist that YOU want at your event.

A major aspect of my services, in which I stand out amongst other DJ/MC companies, and the one which is most appreciated by my clients, is my ability to mix my music TOGETHER seamlessly. This means that I don't stand back behind my system and press buttons and look bored. I make it exciting; as the crowd is dancing to The Bee Gees, and all of sudden, it's now Bob Marley playing, or Stevie Wonder, etc. Blending my music takes skill, one that is accomplished through years of DJ'ing and practice. It provides an energy to a party that brings everyone together. It also provides a performance aspect that brings a unique and special feeling.

Of course, you may prefer a different style, pauses in between songs, participation from your guests, etc. Again, I work for you, to make the event yours.

I discuss the music with you well in advance of your event, several times to fine tune the selections. I work with you on what you want to hear and, equally important, what you do NOT want to hear. Some clients pick out every song for the event. Others prefer to pick a few songs, and leave the rest to me. It's up to you.

Sound is VERY important to me and my guests. I'm passionate about sound, and believe that great sound can really enhance your experience. The music and sound should be loud and clear,so that you can hear the words to every song playing, yet have a conversation with your friend or relative without having to shout.

I do not play compressed, flat-sounding mp3's. You will hear crystal clear, full sounding music the way it was meant to be heard. I have attended weddings as a guest and witnessed DJ's playing low-quality MP3's, and it makes a huge difference. Music that sounds great is a prime example of professionalism, going the extra mile.
